The Queen's Watchdog letterbox can be found in the Longhorn Cavern State Park. It was carved in honor of one of the formations that can be found in the cave.
I recommend taking the cavern tour so you can see the watchdog in person.
CLUES:
To find the box planted in its honor you will need to start at the CCC Officer's Quarters. You can use a map from the office to help you find the Officer's Quarters if needed.
Once you get to the Officer's Quarters, go to the back door. Standing in front of the door, get a reading of 315 degrees.
Go 20 steps at 315 degrees. You'll be going beyond the clearing that the officer's quarters are in.
At 20 steps you should be able to see a rock in front of a cedar tree about 10 more steps ahead.
The Watchdog letterbox is behind this rock and hidden by smaller rocks.
