These are last part of the clues for the Lariat Loop Series MAGENTA letterbox, part of the Lariat Loop Series. These clues will only be useful to you once you have one crucial missing part – the starting point! The starting point can only be obtained by finding the letterbox which comes before this box in the Lariat Loop Series.

To begin the Lariat Loop Series, see:
http://www.atlasquest.com/lboxes/showboxinfo.html?gBoxId=34808

The box went missing in June 2008. The replacement box has the same starting location as the original box.

Once you’re at the starting point for this box:
Take the sidewalk towards the water. When the sidewalk ends, turn right and stop on the flagstone area between the park rules sign and the water. Begin walking in an "easterly" direction along the sidewalk, counting all the "cracks" along the way.

Stop at the 16th crack. Turn left, towards the water. You should see two gray boulders near the water's edge. The magenta letterbox is hidden on the water side of the smaller boulder. PLEASE be very discrete when finding and retrieving this box. The trail can be very busy and you could be observed by patrons at the nearby business.

The creatures shown in the letterbox stamp can often be seen if you walk the perimeter of this attraction.

The box is a planter's pouch and contains a hand made log book and hand-carved stamp. Please bring your own pen and ink.

After stamping in, you might want to take a tour of this Lariat Loop attraction. Make sure you check the BACK of the log book to find the starting point for the next box on the loop.
