Surrounded by the # 4 and 125 Highways, and Keltic Drive and Sydney River, near SYDNEY Nova Scotia, Cape Breton Island, Canada, may be found the Ach'-na-Sith. It is quite interesting the locations you can come across when looking for a nice spot for a geocache. This should be an easy find for visitors and locals alike.

This Cache is a Geocacache/Letterbox. The Letterbox is the smaller container inside the main cache. Please leave the contents of the Letterbox intact they are not for trading. ( This cache is also registered on the Geocaching.Com site for geocachers. It's Waypoint Number is GC12435. Geocachers use GPSr units to locate caches by coordinates listed on the Geocaching Web Site. ) You must add your stamp or calling card to this letterbox log, and take one of the MineRP's labels or cards for yours. Log your letterbox or Geocache find on their respective site depending which method for locating you use. Technology is over taking the rubber stamp.

You must first find the Brass Memorial Marker.
For Letterboxers, here are the hints to get you to the marker.

A Use the above listed boundries to limit your search.
B The marker is South of the CB&CNSR.
C The marker is approx. 100' from Sydney River.
D There is a paved lot approx. 150' to the East of the marker.
E The marker is North North East of a small Inlet.
F Power line run directly over the marker.
G The marker is in a clearing and easily detected by it's
surroundings.

For Geocachers, the given coordinates are for the marker. If you have the time and energy ( and SKILL ), try it the letterboxers way, no GPSr, only compass and brains. Once you have located the marker, pay your respects and then solve the puzzle to locate the cache.

The Puzzle

Yea will find thrice dates embossed upon the main plaque.
Subtract each from 2003, sum the answers, and multiply by two.
This will give yea the bearing true to find thee a cache.
Now go forth and seekth yea reward.

Cache container is a cammoed ammobox that was a gift from
Sportsman01.
