Driving:
The Crooked Run Nature Preserve is located East of Cincinnati on the Scenic route 52. About 15 miles (east) of the city limits of New Richmond ,Ohio. (going East ) Turn Right on the first street after crossing Rt.222.
You can also access Crooked Run NP entering through Chilo Lock #34 Park which is next to the preserve. The Crooked Run Nature Preserve is listed as one of the top "Watchable Wildlife " viewing areas in the state.
This is a microbox ** ~~ please bring a stamp pad, and pen with you.!!
Clues:
From the parking lot ,take the gravel road E-SE past the Yurt overnight
cabins.
Go thru the " foot travel only" gate opening.
At the information kiosk you will find a map to borrow. At this point take a bearing of 140°
~Observation Tower- Pond ~
Take that trail ! ( it will be on your left )
Cross over the wooden foot bridge.
After you come to the white drain pipe take a bearing of 100º.(follow the trail )
Next you will come to a gravel road....
At the post on your Right take a bearing of 30º and you will see a metal gate that has a sign "No access "
The fifth horizontal bar up on the left side should be what you are seeking .
