Near Huntington, WV take Interstate 64 to Exit 8 (5th St.). Proceed South on Rt.152. Pass the new temple dome, go up a long hill, down the other side, past the ACE, past the "Triple H". At the 4 mile mark, cross the tracks, wave at Ronald, go straight another mile till you cross the tracks again. Immediately take the turning lane and go left. Notice the brown sign. That's your destination. Follow arrow to the right towards Beach. Go over concrete bridge that has been black-topped over and turn left. Go about a mile then turn left on Stowers Branch Rd. Continue until you get to the gate with the brown sign, recreation area. Park in the small 2 car lot located outside and to the left of the gate. See the barely noticeable unmarked path leading up the hill in front of your car. Step over the short fence, and take that path up the hill. When you get to the top of the hill the path turns to the left. However, if you look closely, it also leads off to the right, less noticeably. Go to the right. About 10 steps on the left is a huge smooth bark tree. Box is in the roots on the back side of that tree, covered by a rock.
