**THE CHIEF IS BACK SINCE BEING SET UPON BY VICIOUS SQUIRRELS** Since he lost his job as U of I mascot, Chief Illiniwek has been hiding out under the "Mascot Protection Program." You can't see him, but he's there.

To find Chief Illiniwek's new hidiing place, enter the Mount Hope Cemetery through the stone pillars on Pennsylvania Avenue. Drive straight until you see the obelisk for Rev. Gerrard W. Riley and his wife Sarah. Turn right and drive until you see the mausoleum for Mark Carly. Park there. On the north side of the road is the monument for Dr. C. H. Mills. Walk past that monument and look for the headstone of Henry Hundt, who died January 18, 1868, and his wife Mary. The tree shading the Hundt tombstone is also providing shelter for Chief Iliniwek.

Be very careful retrieving and replacing Chief Illiniwek as we don't want him to disappear forever.
