Memorial Day May 28th
The month of May is when we all celebrate our mothers. So for this series, I decided to offer some ideas for gifts for your mom. So, I hope you enjoy some of the places that I am taking you, and hopefully you will come up with some ideas of what to get that special mom.
So how about a picnic with your mom?? Go grab some fried chicken and head to the quaint little park that was built to honor our veterans. This park is located off of Larissa Street in Jacksonville on the same block as the fire department and the Jacksonville Senior Center. Park in the parking lot for the senior center closest to the statue honoring the veterans. There is a picnic table for you to have lunch and then make sure to visit the memorial. When you are ready for the box, you will see line of crepe myrtles from the parking lot. The Memorial Day box is located in the middle of the 3rd crepe myrtle from the parking lot. (This crepe myrtle is near a tree and a green bench) Please make sure that the box is well hidden.
