About a 3 mile easy hike through beautiful and varied terrain!
Planted by Carol and friends 1-11-2003

Don't miss Two Tag-a-Longs in the same park!

From I95, take exit 82 onto Rt. 85 toward Salem. Drive through Chesterfield Four Corners and through Salem Four Corners. Pass Quality Daycare on right. Take LEFT onto HAGEN Rd. Immediate RIGHT - will see Walden Nature Preserve sign. PARK facing sign. Walk straight across open field [left of mound and right of little tree] to ENTRANCE into WOODS marked by yellow tag in tree and RED circle marker on tree. Follow RED trail to HARRIS BROOK on RIGHT. Continue to clearing. Continue RIGHT on RED trail - past stone foundations to where brook flows under the trail and water is on both sides. Turn LEFT onto YELLOW trail marked with yellow circles - by Cedar tree. LEFT at fork - continue on yellow trail. Walk through Mt. Laurel. LEFT at fork. Stay on YELLOW. After MT. Laurel thins, look for very TALL PINE tree on LEFT [yellow marker]. Go to NEXT yellow marker. Walk off the trail to the RIGHT about 20 steps to TREE STUMP. BOX is in back of stump under rocks! "Bee Happy"! You found it!

To all who find this Letterbox along Walden's Nature Trail
Congratulate yourself for pursuing it without fail!
Now stop a moment and be still and listen to the wild
Be aware of nature's beauty as if you were a child.
My message to you who found this - at this moment - on this day -
is "Bee Happy" and remember to always find some time to PLAY!

To complete walk and return to car - Continue on YELLOW trail to RED trail markers.
Follow RED trail back to car.
