ALIEN ALEX (BOX #1) WAS STOLEN RECENTLY. WE ARE WORKING ON GETTING IT REPLACED.

Log Boom Park is right on the Burke-Gilman Trail and provides an excellent view of Lake Washington and float-plane landings. We call it the "Alien Park" because of the unique playground that was recently finished. The park is just off of Bothell Way and 61st Ave.

Address: 6100 N.E. 175th Street
Kenmore, WA 98028

Alien Alex (Box #1)

Park in the parking lot of Log Boom Park and walk west passing the Alien Playground on your left (you should stop and play on some of this unusual play equipment on your way back). Continue walking until you reach the small pebble beach and bathrooms on your left. After throwing a few rocks into Lake Washington, continue west down the path about 50 paces until you come to the V-tree. Then, 65 more paces will bring you to a garbage can. At about 150 degrees, you will see a picnic table. Have a seat at the table and enjoy the nice view of the Lake. Now you’re ready to find the box. While facing the lake, look to your right (about 200 degrees); you’ll see the fallen trunk of a large tree. Follow the log to the end (if the water is high it might be a little tricky to access). Inside the end of the log you will find the box (be aware of some prickly blackberry vines).

Alien Alice (Box #2)

Head back to the east end of the parking lot. There you'll discover a wide, winding, sidewalk path that heads toward the lake. Take the path until you reach the start of the dock. You should enjoy a nice walk to the end of the dock...especially fun if the float planes are landing. But
for now, turn around so that you are facing approximately east (you should be standing close to a garbage can). Now, at a bearing of 115 degrees, take about 40 paces and you'll find a little wooden bridge. Just over the bridge on your're right is a 4ft log followed by a longer log. Alien Alice is tucked under some grass in the space between the two logs.
