Newman Lake is located in Washington State 21 miles east of Downtown Spokane just 5 miles north of Interstate 90 on the way to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.
Getting you close: From Spokane go east on Trent to the intersection of Trent and Starr. Turn north (left) on Starr. Follow Starr toward the lake. At the end of Starr turn left onto East Newman Lake Road. Be on the lookout for the picnic area across from the public boat launch. The picnic area is marked with a sign...Picnic Area provided by Newman Lake Area Flood Control. Park here.
To the box: From the NW corner of the fence hop east past 6 fence posts (not including corner post). With your back to the 6th post hop south 12 steps. Look to the left, and there between the tree and the stump, the Prince of Newman Lake awaits.
