This letterbox is one of a series of boxes hidden by Girl Scout Troop #48
You should not search for this box between 7:45 A.M-8:15 A.M. or 2:15 P.M.-3:00 P.M. from late August through early June. Students from the school will be arriving and leaving at these times and will see you!

Begin at intersection of Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) & US 41 (Wicker Avenue)
Go East on Route 30
Turn left onto Cline Avenue
Turn left into parking lot of Peifer School

Alfred Peifer was born December 16, 1911. He owned the farm on the corner of Cline Avenue and Old Joliet Road which is just down the street from where the school now stands. Mr. Peifer was a wonderful public servant to the Schererville community. Sadly, he died in July of 1966 from what people say was "a broken heart."

Find the green and yellow dumpster
Walk ten steps to a tree
Go east until you see the big “P”
Stand in the middle of the “P” and go to a tall bush with a circle of rocks around it
Look around the circle of rocks and lift the one with a red box under it
