Bob Hope is a Horse
We had the great fortune to take a carriage ride last Christmas and the horse that pulled us while we sang carols through the streets of Metamora was named Bob Hope. The horses are parked next to a marvelous 400 year old cross in a grotto that also houses a hand carved set of Apostles and some very nice religious artwork. Halfway down the side street is a wooden fence where I sat on a piece of concrete and got a rock out of my shoe. There are a couple of other pieces of cement next to the fence and under the back of the one next to the fence it looks like Bob Hope left some hoof prints.
