From RT. 68 in Tellico Plains, go South on 68 towards Cokercreek. You will go about 10-11 miles until you see the Coker Creek Welcome Center on the left. A road runs to the left called Doc Rogers Road, but there is no road sign. Go down this road no more than half a mile. You will come to a sudden left turn onto a dirt road with a board and wire fence. Go down this road about 150 feet and park on the left. You will see the trail marker for Doc Rogers Field Trail to the right. Start out by crossing the open field into the woods and cross a small footbridge. Follow the trail to the left. You will cross a second footbridge near a tree marked with a blue blaze. At this point you will come out of the woods anc cross another open field. Follow the path until you come to an opening that goes down to the creek, on the right. There are several trees growing together on the right side of the bank. You will find this letterbox nearby. There is a prize for the first person to find the box. Once you have located it, you can exit the trail by crossing the field directly in front of the path and it will take you back to where you parked. If you like a nice walk, keep on the trail. There are lots of wildflowers, ferns, and even bluebirds, if you're lucky. Happy Hunting! This box is sponsored by the "Pod People" garden club of Cokercreek.
