This is a replacement box for the missing one named "????". I have recarved the stamp and placed it in an off-the-trail location from a different starting point. It will count as a new find.

Here is the clue:

Get a map of Spokane County. Look for a place of 'healing water'. Park at the north end of said body of water in the small pull out. Walk south on the paved trail on the west side of the water. After a short walk you will come to a paved branch of the trail that heads towards the water with a picnic table, garbage receptacle and a bench. Now retrace your steps from this turn-out to the big boulder 2 feet off the right side of the trail. About 20 steps further there is a faint trail heading down to the water's edge. Now find the faint trail that continues north parallel to the waters edge that fisherman use. Proceed approximately 50 steps. There is one spot very close to the water's edge where you have to duck under some braches. At the end of the counted steps you will find yourself in a small grove of Aspen trees. Find the double trunked one (joined close to the ground) about 15 to 20 feet from the water. If you look carefully you will see a hollowed out hole in the base of this shared trunk and in it, covered with leaves, is this small letter box with dual containers. I would recommend leaving someone at the picnic tables so you can have a nice place to stamp and then re-hide it well in the same spot. Please Leave No Trace.

Warning: The underbrush is thick here so wear boots and pants. Bug spray is also advised as well as Gloves!

This is a very popular trail to make sure you aren't observed as you grab or replace the actual box.

Walk around the trail (2 miles, I think) for some nice exercise. It is also popular for biking.

Hike length: total is about a 1/4 mile
