Homestar Runner Part 2

This series was created to complete the Homestar Runner Part 1 series carved by Indigo Vulture. Both were planted for Cyclonic’s “Who Needs a Theme” gather held May 19, 2007.

What is Homestar Runner you ask? Well, according to Wikipedia:
Homestar Runner is an internet cartoon that mixes surreal humour with references to 1980s and 1990s pop culture, notably video games, classic television and popular music. Although originally conceived as a book written for children, the site has gravitated towards young adults. Most of the site's traffic comes from the United States[1]; the cartoon itself usually takes place in Free Country USA, a fictional state. Cartoons are nominally centered on Homestar Runner, a terrific yet unintelligent athlete. However, the series of cartoons in which the antagonist Strong Bad answers email from viewers, called Strong Bad Email, is the most prominent feature of the site. The site has also grown to encompass dozens of other characters. The site is one of the most popular Flash cartoons on the Internet and is notable for its refusal to sell advertising space (the creators pay for everything through merchandise sales, which includes a line of T-shirts). [1] It grew in popularity largely through word of mouth.
So, are you ready to meet some of the denizens of Free Country USA and Strongbadia? If so, start walking!

Strong Mad
Take trail head to the left of the Nature Center, right of the pavilion.
At the first trail marker take 9 medium sized paces (every other footfall) and look right.
Behind the multi-trunk tree about 25-30 feet off trail Strong Mad is waiting for you!

Coach Z
Continue on path to a 3 trunk tree on your right, post #9 will be behind you. Take a bearing of 40 degrees to the multi-trunk Maple tree a little ways in the woods. Coach Z hides there.

Bubs
Return to trail heading in the direction you were going, After awhile you will come to a T junction. Take a bearing of 350 degrees to locate a very large tree about 10 paces in. Bubs is manning his concession stand there.

Strong Bad
Return to the trail and stay on the red trail. You go up and down and around curves. In a little while you’ll pass a plank bridge on your left. Wait...what was that? Out of the corner of your eye a wisp of a gossamer wing heading up the hill? Well, sorry that’s not what you’re looking for now so continue on the red trail. Soon the trail meets back up with the creek at a wooden bridge on the left. Stand on the end of the bridge and take a bearing of 120 degrees. See the 3 medium sized trees up on the hill? Strong Bad is answering his email behind the tree on the back right.

As always please re-hide these boxes BETTER than when you found them and let us know how you made out. And don’t forget to check out the whole gang at www.homestarrunner.com!
