Riverview Park (5 boxes)

This series was designed with Scouts in mind - it's short with lots of local history, a playground, a spectacular overlook, and possibly an ice cream truck. However, the park is absolutely infested with teenagers bent on destroying any box they happen to spy peeking out from under a log (I've had to replace boxes 6 times and nearly gave up on the series).

I've therefore restricted this series to either those who have planted 5 boxes and listed them at atlasquest.com (http://www.atlasquest.com/showinfo.html?gBoxId=58359 - only visible if you meet the requirements) or to Scout leaders who contact me (teresa at borntoexplore.org)and agree to strictly follow letterboxing ettiquette:

STEALTH: Do not let anyone see you pull out a letterbox or rehide it ESPECIALLY NOT TEENAGERS. If you are not able to remove the box without people seeing you, then skip the box. Once you find the box, take it somewhere else to stamp in. Do not let people hear you say you are looking for a box or allow children to yell "Here it is!". In this park, I also ask that you bring a garbage bag and pick up litter while you are boxing. The park needs it and it's a great 'disguise'.

REHIDE COMPLETELY: Make sure that not even the slightest bit of the box is showing from any angle, and that any leaves or bark cover will not blow off or wash off in a rainstorm.

GROUP LEADERS: Please explain the ettiquette to your group before you start and supervise the group strictly. If children rehide the box, inspect their work before moving on.
