If you’re in Garden Grove one night* (or one afternoon), you might go pay El Rey a visit. Travel down Historic Main Street, and when you see El Rey serenading you from a balcony, you’ll know you’ve found the place. Go inside, have a seat, and order something to eat (I recommend the Enchiladas Rancheras). If you’re anything like me, you can’t help falling in love with this place. My little sister and I always enjoy it and try to come a little more often than once in a blue moon.

To find El Rey, just ask your server for the letterbox—such an easy question! If they seem confused, tell them to look on the shelf just above the first aid kit. Do not attempt to retrieve or return the letterbox yourself; only staff members may do so. You wouldn’t want to arouse any suspicious minds. Enjoy its contents as you enjoy your meal, and then ask them to put it back.
