Clover Park
2600 Ocean Park Blvd, Santa Monica, CA
THIS LETTERBOX IS MISSING!!! THE BOX WILL BE REPLACED IN THE NEAR FUTURE...
A lovely neighborhood park with lots of activities for the fit and active residents of the community. Perfect for the many dog-lovers of Dogtown. At the back of the park, there is a view of the small planes taking off and landing at the Santa Monica Airport.
This clue takes you past the many strength-training stations along the jogging path, so feel free to workout as you go!
Start at the mint green "Clover Park" sign.
Cross the driveway/parking entrance and find the Beam Jump.
Walk south and on your right you will find:
Step Up
Parallel Bars
Leg Lift
Body Curl
Continue walking past the baseball field and water fountain.
You'll see the:
Hyper-extension Bench and Vertical Climb
Keep going, past the restrooms, until you find the:
Jump Up, Dip Station, Rope Climb and Horizontal Ladder
(gosh, those are hard!)
When you reach the colorful jungle gym, you will be able to see the fence that borders the airport. Check out the planes using the telescope on your left!
Follow the curve in the path until you reach a series of stone benches on your left.
Rest your gams on the fourth bench, under a shady pine tree. If you're lucky, you could catch a foul ball!
Reach under the bench to find your letterbox, but don't let anyone see you!
Once you have safely returned the box, you can continue along the path, which will pass more workout stations and take you back to where you started.
