From route 15, turn onto Packard Rd. (near Merchants Bank)
Take the 2nd right onto Starbird Road.
Take your 1st left past Mt. Vista.
You will see concrete barriers and a 'No Motorized Vehicles' sign at the entrance to the path.
Take your 1st left past a cut tree with a blue arrow on the bottom cut edge.
Go left at the fork.
At the next fork, go right. (You will see an orange sign down the wrong way to go.)
As you walk you will notice a deep ravine to the right of the path.
You will see another orange sign off to the left side. Do NOT take this path, continue straight.
You will come to a chain link/barbed wire fence.
Go down towards the water.
On the left side there is a maple tree between two pine trees. The roots have pulled away from the ground. The box is in the opening behind two small branches and a piece of bark.
Caution! Watch your head and arm as you retrieve/replace the box as you have to reach between the fence to get to it.
