Another box at Sessions Woods. Checking the map board at the beginning of the Beaver Pond Trail might be beneficial before heading out.
Starting at the southern end of the Crosscut Trail (which is opposite the sign for Erosion Control) head north along the trail through mostly short scrubby vegetation. Pass the Chestnut Tree Research sign board (on the left), pass The Deer Exclosure sign (on the right) and at the top of the next uphill, look left to spot a rocky ledge among the trees.
Stand with your right shoulder against the tree with the winding root, jump down and look under where your feet were.
After rehiding carefully, continue on the trail. At the fork go left and at the next intersection go left. When you hit the main trail you may go right for the short way to your car or left for other boxes and more excercise.
