Mother and Father are hiding in the Washington Park Arboretum.

Directions:

From downtown Seattle head East on Madison St. to Lake Washington Blvd. E; turn left and shortly after you will turn right onto Arboretum Dr. E.
Follow up a small hill and past a parking lot on your right
Park in the first gravel parking lot of your left.

Letterbox #1: Mother

-From the parking lot walk toward the large log on top of two smaller logs
-You will see a map of all the wonderful places you can discover in the Arboretum
-Follow the larger trail just left of the map
-You will cross over two trail boards and pass by a park bench on your left
-Veer to the right of the trail towards the gazebo
-Go through the gazebo and down the stairs
-Continue to follow the curve of the trail and walk under the lovely Rhododendron tree
-On your left you will come across two medium sized rocks marking a trail
-Walk down 17 wood steps to a beautiful garden to your right
-Hiding behind giant leaves sits a bench
-Just to the left of the bench behind the Acer Pseudosieboldianum tree will lay a large rock path across a muddy pond
-Behind the ferns at the end of the large rock, under a Rhododendron tree you will find Mother hiding

*Please respect the plants and nature while searching for the letterbox.

Replace Mother back to where you found her and be careful you are not spotted by others walking the trails

Letterbox #2: Father

-Walk back up the 17 wood stairs and continue left down the trail
-You will come across a Y in the trail
-Take the left path
-Immediately take a left at the second Y
-Walk through the bare boney woods
-At the next Y, continue to the right
-You may want to take a rest for awhile at the rock sitting area on your right
-Next you will come across a intersection in the trail
-Take the left path down the hill to the grassy clearing
-At the bottom of the hill follow the trail to the right
-You will pass by 3 park benches and come across a row of colorful flowers on your right
-Between the Rhododendron bushes will be a trail leading up the hill
-Follow the trail up 24 wood steps
-Just in front of you will be 8 more steps leading to a hand made wood bench dedicated to the memory of Marty Trosper
-Sit and admire the wonderful beauty of nature
-To your left will be two fern bushes
-One fern bush is reaching out to say hello
-The other fern bush is sitting behind him
-Carefully look next to the deeper fern bush for Father sleeping under a rock.

*Please respect the plants and nature while searching for the letterbox.

Replace Father back where you found him sleeping, so no one else can see him while he naps.
