Location: Parkhill park
Directions: take exit 30 off of route 2 (the south st exit) And follow south st until you get to the traffic light. Take a left. This is Electric ave. Follow this until the cumberland farms and graveyard, and take that right. Follow straight down, and at the stop sign, go straight. Follow this road to the end and take a left. That is parkhill park on your left!
The story: This is not only our first letter box, but it contains the first signature stamp we ever used before we started carving stamps. Good friends of ours (JARS of clay) got us addicted before we had even started! So, we decided to take this special stamp and make a box.
Start at the parking lot behind the white and tourquoise building. Follow the asphault path through the kids' playground. At the three way split take the left path.Follow this path until the next fork. Take again, the left path. At this point you should be between a basketball court and a skate park. Notice to your right, the beautifully clean stream and water grate. (haha) On your left is a base ball field. See it? good. At the stadium light pole in front of you. At that pole, follow the fence outlining the baseball field. At the second stadium lights, Count 8 of the vertical fence poles supporting the fence. Just below this 8th pole is our butterfly covered by rocks!
