In the spirit of "Who's Hoo..." our YMCA Adventure Guide group of Moms and Daughters created a letterbox for Tecolote Park. Our circle is called Red Thunder, hence the name of the box. We made the stamp using foam corn pads as described in the kids section, but weren't able to fashion them into an owl to complete the theme... we did however make a lovely flower.
To find our box, head to the Tecolote Nature Center at the end of Tecolote Road. Follow the path to the left of the Nature Center (while here you may wish to search for one of "Who's Hoo..."), walk along the path for about 5 to 10 minutes. You should come to a very large tree with a table or tall bench under it to your left. The tree has multiple trunks, and in the area where the trunks meet you should see two good sized cement-slab "rocks" you will find the box under these.
Happy hunting!
