"In This Storm" Letterbox
* still in place 2012
This letterbox is in one of my favorite places. A place of peace and quiet. An old place, a place that holds a lot of memories. This letterbox is placed outside the boundary of this beloved place, but you will need to travel through it to get there. Please be very respectful of this place and others.
Clues:
Find your way to Grandview Cemetery, Bonners Ferry Idaho. Go into the old section. You can drive in if the large gates are open. If they are closed, gain entrance by using the quaint walk gate. After coming through the gate follow the dirt road as it travels Northerly for about 150 feet and then turns Northwesterly. Continue Northwesterly along this narrow cemetery road until you can travel it no more. You have reached the very point of the old section of this cemetery. You will need to walk a bit farther passed a section of graves until you come to the end of the cemetery and the beginning of the surrounding woodland. You should see a small trail that leads in a downward direction away from the cemetery. Take 23 steps along this trail. Stop and turn to your left. There are two large fir trees, trying to occupy the same space. Their trucks create a V. The letterbox is at the base of these trees, on the northerly side, covered with woodsy debries.
Hope you enjoy the area and the hunt.
Sincerely, Sondog
My letterboxes:
If you find one and it is in disrepair, in "bad" shape -Please simply notify me. I prefer to do my own repairs and/or replacements. Thanks.
