Rock Creek is a nice little place for camping, relaxing, and enjoying some family time in southwest Nebraska. With its own fish hatchery, it also offers some excellent fishing opportunity. Enjoy!

Bring Your Own Ink
Level of Terrain: Easy, a few feet of walking on rocks
Time required after parking: 5-10 minutes

Directions: 11 miles west of Benkelman or 10 miles east of Haigler, traveling on US-34, you will see signs for the town of Parks, Nebraska, as well as the Rock Creek Recreational Area. Follow the Rock Creek signs to the park.

Clues:
Come in the park and take the first right.
You'll see the Rock Creek Recreation sign.
Enjoy a short drive that curves 'round the lake.
It's a tresured spot in this part of the state.
You'll come to a clearing with swings and the like.
Park by the playground. There's just a short hike.
Go east down the hill & down a concrete walk.
The letterbox is near. Be looking in the rocks.
Stop before the dock and turn to the right.
Inch down beside it. The box is almost in sight.
Crouch down low and look under the dock.
Below the second post, it's behind a few rocks.
Handle with care and re-hide it away.
Happy letterboxing to you and have a great day!
