In 2006, it was estimated 18,510 new cases of liver cancer would be reported.

Donations made to organizations like the American Cancer society help fund research for detection, treatment and prevention of all forms of cancer. They also provide support services to cancer victims and their families.

This letterbox is planted in honor of all who have been diagnosed with liver cancer, and those who love them.

Go to the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, located on Route 30 East near the intersection with Route 34 near Oswego, Illinois. Enter the Cemetery and drive toward the back. At the last driveway, turn north to Section 16. Within this section you will find a large monument engraved with the Last Supper. In the bushes to the north of this monument, you will find what you seek.

Please be as unobtrusive and respectful as you retrieve this letterbox. Please use a green stamp pad if possible as green denotes liver cancer.

For more information about all forms of cancer visit the American Cancer Society web page at http//cancer.org
