The Cat Who Went Up The Creek is the 24th "Cat Who" mystery by Lilian Jackson Braun, and includes the usual characters: journalist Jim Qwilleran and his two Siamese cats, Koko and Yum Yum. This time they find themselves involved in a murder investigation at an inn by a creek. This book, as in all the others, is enjoyable more for the quirky characters than the mystery itself and makes for fun, light reading. Since Lake Houston Park has Peach Creek running through it, I thought it would be a good place for this microbox. So come visit the park to look for this box, and maybe listen to the audio version of this book on the way.

Directions:
From Houston go north on US 59 to New Caney and take the FM 1485 exit. Turn right and go 0.2 miles, then right on TX 494 for 0.3 miles, then left on FM 1485 for about 3 miles to Lake Houston Park entrance station on the right. After paying and getting a map, drive to Nature Center and park.

Clues:
From parking lot walk west on old gravel road to restrooms on right near the walking bridge across Peach Creek. Turn left before the bridge onto the Peach Creek Trail. Walk several hundred yards until you cross the second bridge. Continue 8 steps on the trail then turn left and walk 15 steps off trail to a large pine tree. Continue around the right side of the pine for another step to a medium tree. The microbox is at back base under sticks and leaves. Please replace as described.
