This box has relocated from Hartland to Penwood State Park in Bloomfield on route 185.

After parking in the lot walk down the paved road to the right of the memorial rock. Penwood now has several red blazed trails, the first one is on the right at the end of Gale Pond, the next one is at a wooden gate (also on the right)and the one you want is after that where the road turns slightly to the left. Look for a big old gnarly tree on the right. There's a red circle painted on it. The rest of this trail has been reblazed purple so follow the purple blazed trail behind it until you see a white birch on the left that is intertwined (near the top)with another. Look in the roots of the white tree under a flat rock.

This stamp was carved by Sparky Butterfly, thanks kid.
