When in downtown Pittsfield, find your way over to the Pittsfield Historical Society and the Depot Museum House. Hours are limited, but please visit inside if they are open.
Park so you are facing the tracks. Straight across the tracks is a home to numerous books by Mr. Twain. Walk along the outside of the museum building and along the train car that is on display. Standing at the very end of the car, facing the end, look underneath. You will find this treasure hidden beneath the gravel to the front and right of the left side of the track. This is hidden in ziploc bags rather than a box.
The stamp is a purchased stamp.
