These Letterboxes were sent to me by Warcat76 of New Jersey for placement here in Connecticut. WarCat76 carved the stamps and made the logbooks, and I had all the fun planting them! Enjoy!

James Patterson Series (Part 1)

Hockanum River Hiking Trail
New State Road Ball Field
Manchester

THE MIDNIGHT CLUB
John Stefanovuitch is one tough New York cop. Nobody knows the city like he does. Stef is out to get Alexandre St. Germain, a powerful member of the Midnight Club - a secret international society whose membership is limited to an elite group of crime czars, all of whom are respectable business men.

Enter the orange blazed trail just to the right of the entrance to the ball field and continue on the grassy path. Soon, you'll enter a wooded area and pass under a tree leaning right to left over the trail (its neighbor is blazed). Take 32 steps up the trail from this leaning tree and look for a 3 sister off to the right of the trail. THE MIDNIGHT CLUB resides here.

MIRACLE ON THE 17TH GREEN
Travis McKinley has a job he despises, a marriage that has lost its passion, and at the age of 50, a sense that he has accomplished nothing of consequence. But one Christmas Day spent on the golf course looks set to change everything and Travis begins to believe that miracles can happen.

Follow the trail as it curves to the left. Before reaching a large 2 sister on the left side of the trail, look to the left for some fallen trees off trail just a bit. THE MIRACLE ON THE 17TH GREEN can be found in the crack of one of the fallen trees.

KISS THE GIRLS
When his niece is abducted, detective Alex Cross is drawn into a web of coast-to-coast terror involving two chillingly clever killers: one who targets Southern college coeds, the other who is terrorizing Los Angeles with a series of unspeakable murders.

Continue on the trail passing the Black Oak on your right and the Black Cherry on your left. If you lose sight of the trail, look up ahead for the blazes. At the fork, turn left and stop when you get to a small clearing where the stream bends. Facing the rocky beach across the stream you'll see a cut log on your left. KISS THE GIRLS is in the hollow at the end of the log facing away from you. Continue on the trail and exit the woods at the ball field. See your car across the field? Now onto Part 2...
