These Letterboxes were sent to me by Warcat76 of New Jersey for placement here in Connecticut. WarCat76 carved the stamps and made the logbooks, and I had all the fun planting them! Enjoy!

James Patterson Series (Part 2)

Laurel Marsh Hiking Trail
Manchester

SEASON OF THE MACHETE
No one would guess that glamourous jet-setters Damian and Carrie Rose are cold-blooded killers. That is, no one but beach bum Peter Macdonald who risks his life on a hunch and finds himself on the trail of the machete murderers.

Enter the trailhead and turn left. At the Red Maple turn right (don't worry, you'll know it when you see it.) After the trail bends to the left, look for two 2 sisters on the left sode of the trail. In the 2 sister on the left you will find the SEASON OF THE MACHETE.

ALONG CAME A SPIDER
Dr. Cross teams up with Secret Service agent Jezzie Flannigan to solve the mystery of two children who were kidnapped from a wealthy private school in Washington, D.C. As the two investigate, clues lead to the trail of a brilliant on-the-loose serial killer.

Continue over the wooden bridge and follow the trail as it bears right. At the intersection, turn right. (NOTE: OT.. just to the right of the Laurel Marsh sign on the left of the trail is a little path that leads down to the stream. A nice place to cool hot feet!) As the bridge comes into view, stop two steps beyond the two 2 sisters (yea, I know, lots of 2's!) on the right side of the trail. A few steps off trail on the right to a tree with many trunks awaits ALONG CAME A SPIDER.

CAT AND MOUSE
Alex Cross is back, and so is his nemesis, mass murderer Gary Soneji -- and he's out for revenge. But first, Gary wants to play, and it's up to Alex to figure out the game. The lives of thousands of innocent commuters hang in the balance.

Cross the bridge and stop at that monstrosity on the right. With the White Ash sign on your left, lean over the fallen part of this tree and reach under. CAT AND MOUSE are hiding here.

Continue on the trail and stay right on the Loop Trail. (Don't cross the bridge.) You'll soon be back at your car.
