THIS BOX IS RETIRED

Elephants are large mammals of order Proboscidea. There is only one family, namely Elephantidae, with 2 genera, each having one living species. Both Elephant species are herbivorous, eating grasses and other vegetation.

This part of the tour is a very old and interesting place. Old Bliss Cemetery.

This is an Early Burial Ground, 1830-1870. One of the earlier burials is James Copeland, 07-15-1818. Wm P. Bliss sold this ground to the County in 1855. Mr. Bliss lived east of the Cemetery in the log house, which still stands.

Start where SERIES-4 left off, from here get back on RT 49, head south and turn on the road that leads you to Sidney. Stay on this road, you will see Frito Lay on the left side, keep going and you will see a couple of houses on the right side. Just after that road you will come up upon a grassy entrance-road. It will be located between two cornfields, so look very careful for this path of a road. It is very easy to drive on and safe. Right now the corn is not high and you can still see the graveyard from the road. Where you turn is by a pole that is orange on the top and white on the bottom, there is a road across form it. If you get to the crossroad of 2200e you went to far and need to go back.

Take this road and curve around right, you will run into the cemetery. Park anywhere and find the split tree. You then will see the Elephants out in play.

You will need to bring your own inkpad and pen. Orange is very good for this find.

Please replace box as you found it or maybe even better, send an email, and let me know how everything is doing.
