This is a fairly difficult hike make sure to wear good footware and take a bottle of water. It is an easy path but it does get steep. When you find the historic battlefield of Lexington you will pass through a castle wall called the Memorial Gateway. Follow the path til it splits go left follow the trail until you reach the RHYME TYME clue. Here you will depart from the trail cross over the grassy knoll you are looking for the opening in the tree line that is to the left - once you are a few steps in it will really open up, and a well beaten path will emerge
Follow the new trail, there will be a place for you to rest before the real hike begins. From here you continue on down the path do not turn left.
THE TRAIL GETS STEEP - this is not a good one to do if it has rained recently it will be muddy
At the next fork go left you will have a large leap of faith to make before you find your next intersection where you will go right (you should be hearing water)
To get to your prize you will have to walk on water from the middle of the creek it will be the first tree on your right
At the base under a flat rock and an aged piece of metal you will find the treasure.
Now the real challenge begins - the hike up that hill
this is where the waterbottle will seem like a very good idea.
