To find the name of the place and where to go, ones needs to brush up on their English and Geography.

Definition - A small corner, alcove, or recess, especially one in a large room.

This area is of high archeological interest since the discovery of pre-Clovis culture settlements in the late 20th century. The Potawatomi originally named the area gnozhé ("place of the Pike"). The first white settlers arrived in the early 1830s from Hannibal and Troy, New York. As more settlers arrived and the first post office was established, the community was first known as Pike in 1836. While there, take atrip to the museum. Its main exhibit is a prehistoric Wooly Mammoth skeleton uncovered in 1992.

When you find this small place, take a load off, and maybe have something to eat and drink. Be sure to ask for the “lunchbox special” in order to get the stamp. Admire the artwork, especially the duck collection. (These are Big Brat’s favorite!) As always, BYOI (Bring your own ink), and take care of the box.
