This box is missing. Will be replaced in Spring of 2012

You'll find this letterbox in the beautiful Snowden Grove Park in Southaven, MS.
(Not from around here? Take I-55 to Goodman Road exit headed east to Olive Branch. Go South (right) on Getwell Road. After 1 mile go west (left) on Nail Rd.)

They don't have these baseball fields just anywhere. These are a class act!
Find the south entrance off Nail Road. If you're coming off Getwell Road look for the Chop House to the right.
Enter the park and look at the small field to the right...where players live their run and yell and play....just like the rest of the world! Oh! To have a world without disabilities !! Bless the folks who helped make this Field of Dreams come true!!!!

Veer to the right passing the Field of Dreams and coming into this grand ball park. It's not COMPLEX but you'll get an A if you park in the right spot!!
Once you've parked look to the can hear the bats cracking and the crowds yelling !!! GO! GO! GO!
But you must turn away from it all....looking into the trees, the woods and maybe into someone's front yard. You have to jump the white fence or else walk down to the opening and then back again. There's a weathered wooden fence that runs for a few yards...go to where it begins or ends...Sometimes life is like that...could be an ending...could be a beginning and probably it is both. Follow the fence. How nice for someone to have made room in the fence for those tall trees to keep reaching toward the sky, like their own little hide-out. There are two of them. Go to the big one. It's tempting to want to climb up and peek over into that beautiful home.... As you're looking up, look for the box. POP! Another pop fly! Maybe it's a homerun! Batter Up! It's your turn! The box is tucked tightly and away from plain view. Be sure to return it that way !!
Enjoy the park!
