Lobo the Hobo doesn't gamble too much,
He'd much rather ride on the rails.
He tries not to partake of whiskey and such,
It puts too much wind in his sails!
When he was found lounging in the Powerhouse station
At the edge of Old Downtown Kingman,
He decided to expand his view of the nation,
And headed off to see Old Number 7.
Across from the depot sits a paddlewheel ship,
"Colorado Belle" is her name,
You'll see the stacks from No. 7's station,
Now you're onto the game!
A friendly conductor is Lobo's new friend,
He's riding around the tracks,
It seems like the heat and this ride never end,
He's ready to hit the road, Jack!
There's no charge to ride on Old No. 7, but there are time constraints. It only runs Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
From the original planter: This is a wandering letterbox. We would like it to work along the same basic principal as a hitch hiker, except that instead of planting him in an already existing letterbox, we ask that you plant him in an original location somewhere along a set of railroad tracks keeping with the hobo theme. When you have found the box, please contact the current placer, so they can delete the current clues to the box. Once you have placed the box in another location, post the clues as if it were your own box. The only thing we ask is that you not change the name of the box. This way we and others that the box comes in contact with will be able to keep track of its progress. This box will count as a Find as well as a Plant. We hope that you enjoy this box and help Lobo on his journey.
