The Borden Girls
The Borden Girls originally made their debut at Fright Night 2006 but have now taken up residence in Leominster, MA.
On August 4th, 1892, Andrew and Abby Borden were murdered by hatchet in their family home in Fall River, MA. Andrew’s daughter Lizzie was tried and acquitted on the murder charges, although her testimony was inconsistent and her behavior suspect. No one else was ever tried on the murder charges and Lizzie remains notorious to this day. Was Lizzie the murderer? It is up to you to decide!

Take Pond Street off of West Street in downtown Leominster. Take Elm Street off of Pond Street. Stay on Elm until you pass Richards Kennel and then look for the trail on the right after house #693.
Park in small turn off on right side of street.
Follow yellow dot trail up and down over eskers formed by the glaciers. Eventually you will come to a stone wall which you will pass through. About 20 steps after the stone wall look for a large tree stump on the right with an unrooted tree lying in the woods benind it. Find “The Original Girl Gone Wild” on the east side of that tree, covered by bark.
Continue on the trail. You will come to a T junction. Go left following the yellow dots. Follow the trail along as it winds its way through the woods. Eventually you will come to “the perfect log for hiding a letterbox in” on the left….believe me, you’ll know it when you see it. Well, the letterbox is not hidden in that log however, it is behind the log that is perpendicular to that log up the slight embankment. Look for “The Original Mad Cow” hidden by pine needles and leaves behind the log.
Return to your car the way you came in.
