Pond Meadow Park - Braintree, Ma. Ths hunt takes approximately 45-60 minutes to find all 5 boxes. A great beginner hunt. Happy Hunting.
Enter Pond Meadow Park on the Braintree side, continue into the park until the very end where the dam is.
Box 1 - Barn Owl
The the hunt at the cement bridge.
Go up the stairs and across the bridge, at the top of the stairs go straigt for 12 paces. On right you will see a 3ft. boulder. Go down the steep decline. At the fork on the hill bear right. Find the forked tree on the right on the slope. The Barn Owl is hidden in the roots of this tree under some brush and twigs. Rebury when done.
Box 2 - Pumkin in Witches Hat
From the bottom of path take a left to paved walking path. Cross over the walking path and find the blue dot trail. Follow the path until you come to a wooden bridge. On the left side of the bridge will be a rock wall. Look under the 4th large rock to find Pumkin Witch. Look on both sides of the rock.
Box 3 - Ghost
Cross bridge and continue down path, Follow path until you reach #19 marker on right side of path. Count 65 paces until you reach marker 17. Go down path on left after marker 17 until you reach another rock wall. On the right side of the wall at the bottom of a large tree hidden under bark will be the earie ghost. Booing the bunnies that hop by. Now return to #17 marker back on the blue trail.
Box 4 - Goblins
Bear right at the fork in the path and continue along until you find a rotted log on left. Find Goblin guy in log. Please be sure to secure boxes and bags tightly before leaving.
Box 5 - Cat and Hat
Contine down path until you reach marker 15. Follow until you cross another bridge, go 36 paces until you reach a forked tree on the right side of path. Find scary cat in crook of tree under bark.
