Celestial Seasonings is the largest manufacturer and marketer of specialty teas in North America. It has a rich history starting with Mo Siegel gathering herbs in the mountains of Colorado. They are located in Boulder, CO, and have daily free factory tours.

To celebrate my children’s favorite teas, we have planted our first letterbox there.

Information on the tea and gift shop, café, and factory tours is located at http://www.celestialseasonings.com/contact/visit-us.html

DIRECTIONS TO CELESTIAL SEASONINGS:

FROM DENVER
Take I-25/North to US 36/West. Travel on US 36 for approximately 20-25 miles. As you see the outskirts of Boulder approaching, exit onto Highway 157 (Foothills Parkway) heading north. Highway 157 will turn into Highway 119 heading northeast. Travel northeast on Highway 119 (Longmont diagonal) to Jay Road. Turn right, east, on Jay Road. Travel 1 mile on Jay Road to Spine Road. Turn left, north, on Spine Road. Travel 1/2 mile on Spine Road. Turn left, west, onto Sleepytime Drive.

FROM BOULDER
Take Highway 119 (Longmont diagonal) heading northeast. Turn right, east, on Jay Road. Travel 1 mile on Jay Road to Spine Road. Turn left, north, on Spine Road. Travel 1/2 mile on Spine Road. Turn left, west, onto Sleepytime Drive.

DIRECTIONS TO THE LETTERBOX:
When you enter the parking lot, turn to the right, and you will see a grove of trees at the NE corner. Park close to this corner of the lot, but please, BE DISCREET. If there are few cars in the lot, you may opt to park elsewhere in the lot and walk down the sidewalk to the trees. Walk inside of the grove of trees; once inside, you will be pretty well-hidden from other activity. Go to the pine located in the NE corner. At its eastern base is a medium-sized rock somewhat covered by pine needles. Under the rock, it is time for tea!
