This letterbox is hidden at the Knoxville Museum of Art. The box is outside the museum so you can grab it even when the museum is not open, but I strongly recommend that you go when you can enjoy the art, both local and international. Through September the Museum is featuring a special exhibit of Beggars in Rembrandt’s Etchings. The permanent collection’s newest feature is a set of nine miniature rooms designed and in large part created by Narcissa Niblack Thorne.

The key to finding this box is symmetry. Stand directly in front of the Museum. Each set of objects counted below is of a different kind. Find ONE in the middle, FOUR on each (Eight of these in all) . On each side centered and behind the FOUR, is ONE (meaning that there are two of these in all). These are the ONES that you want. Go to the ONE on the left. If you take its point nearest the museum wall to be 12:00, the box is at 12:00, just inside the rim. Mind that you are careful with the green.

It is in a plastic container painted camo-green, be discreet- if there are people near the museum, wait until the cost is clear. Bide your time in the museum or go down the street and enjoy some locally made chocolate.
THIS IS NOT a Traveler; please leave it at the museum.

Special thanks to Lighting the Way for carving this and making the logbook.
