Find the Knoxville city park where the University of Tennessee Lady Vols home baseball field was in 2007 and park in the large, lower, presently graveled, parking lot. Interestingly, I understand this park was named after a well-known chicken processor! Strike out and cross a place with the same name as a Revolutionary War battle. If you come to the place of [the cube root of 125] successive and adjacent bearing changes, you're not only on the right path, but you also are at least in the 6th grade, and might qualify as a Mensa candidate.

See a media monument? That's good. The only brass monument you will pass (it identifies this place and has all the local politicians names on it) is monument number one for purposes of this exercise. Start counting them both right and left. You will ultimately need to know this total number.

See the Arundinaria stand to your left? How about those white violets (in season)?

Beyond, the path might get a little slippery if its raining.

When you are 6.759 kilometers from Volunteer Landing, you have a decision to make. Sit a bit and ponder a moment (euphemism for making sure no ones looking).

Suggest you head out on a bearing of 215 degrees for 10 steps to the shade of a box elder. Don't know a box elder from a pine tree? Its the one in front of you between two blue posts 10 steps away!

From here, sight a bearing of 82 degrees and take 20 steps whereupon in a hole you will begin your quest!
