At the Mason District Park on Columbia Pike, turn right at the park entrance to park in the amphitheatre parking lot.
Start at the amphitheatre and take the trail up behind the seating area toward the tennis courts; you'll pass them on your right.
Pass an exercise trail entrance on your right, and then another on you left. Head straight towards the old split rail fence.
Just before the split rail fence take a right at the trail that begins with a triangle. At the Fit-Trail 3 sign, take a bearing of 70. The old stump sheltering the flying hamster of doom is tucked away in the holly bushes past the pine tree.
Please be discreet - occasional joggers and tennis players nearby.
