Cameron Park is one of Texas' largest municipal parks and an outdoor lover's dream. It sits right on the Brazos River and has something for everyone. There are an extensive number of hiking and biking trails, a bridle path for riding horses, playgrounds, 2 disc golf courses, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, easy-access boat ramps and beautiful wildflowers.

To get to this stamp you are going to have to earn it! You will have to climb Jacob's Ladder. This concrete stairway is lined with cedar railing and ascends 100 feet.

From I-35 take the University Parks Drive exit and go West on University Parks Drive. You will pass several hotels, restaurants and businesses. (At the time of this writing there was construction in front of the Hilton and you will have to go around it and pick up University Parks Dr. on the other side) You will be driving parallel to the Brazos River. This will take you into Cameron Park. Go past the Pecan Bottoms spray park and under the bridge. Turn right onto Sturgis and immediatly take a right on Cameron Park Dr. Go past the Redwood Shelter on your left and drive down to the Rock Shelter. Jacob's Ladder is to the right of the Rock Shelter. You can park directly in front of Jacob's Ladder. Ascend Jacob's Ladder. At the top (good job-by the way) turn to your left and follow the small stone wall to the end. Take one step behind the wall. You're here! The letterbox is under the back side of this stone wall.

Bonus: If your kids are with you keep going to your left to the great playground up there!
