Historic Bybee Springs was first established in 1892, when the 'Bybee Springs Resort and Hotel' was built near a mineral spring. In the late 1800's and early 1900's, soaking in and drinking mineral water was thought to have powers to cure whatever discomforts or illnesses plagued onesself.

Rebuilt after a fire in (ab) 1950, the old home had a long decline. It is now loving restored by the current owners.

The house and nearby schoolhouse (Bybee Springs School) and surrounding 200 acres are all that remain of this historic place.

CLUES:

Find the Bybee Springs Schoolhouse between miles markers 15 & 14 on East Evans Creek Road.

Pull off to the side of the road infront of the gate marked "Private Property Keep Out" you have a special pass to sneek back and find the letterbox.

Make your way around the gate. As you walk towards the school house keep your eye to your left until you see a power pole, walk towards the power pole and stop once you reach it.

Once you get to the power pole put your back to it and face the direction you came from. Take 9 steps due west to a large leaf maple tree.

Underneath the open root is your prize.

Please respect the private propery and only use it to find and stamp into this letterbox. Thank you.
