THIS BOX HAS GONE MISSING

This box is in Laurie Meadows Park which has 2 playgrounds, one for older kids and one for toddlers. It also has 3 picnic tables, a baseball diamond, and a large grass field. There is also a path that goes all the way around the park, good for walking dogs or jogging.

To get here from 101:
Take the Ralston Avenue exit (in Belmont) and go towards the hills. Proceed to the traffic light just before the train tracks (elevated), and turn RIGHT at Old County Road. There is a Wendy's on the corner. Proceed about a mile or so until you come to a traffic light at Laurie Meadows Drive. There is a 7-11 here with excellent Slurpees. Turn RIGHT and proceed through one stopsign. Pretty soon you will see Laurie Meadows Park on the LEFT. Park here.

To find the letterbox:
Stand on the sidewalk facing the entrance to the park. Turn to your RIGHT and walk down the sidewalk. After it curves around the corner you will see on your LEFT some sort of mesh metal cage and a couple large pipes. Stand on the sidewalk facing this cage thing, which is surrounded by jasmine bushes. Look at the base of the bushes on the LEFT about a foot from the end of the bush.

The letterbox is in a brown plastic grocery bag for camouflage.
