Well,
Since my other Cape May boxes have disappeared, I decided to try some new locations. Here you go...

Shark Convention

Sept 1, 2007
Sorry folks, I've had several reports that this one is missing already. Didn't even last the summer season. And it was a pretty cool shark if I may say so. The other 2 are still ok, so far.

I've learned that it is more fun and meaningful to have the stamp image or box name reflect the area in which it is placed. I combined both concepts here.
Go to the Cape May Convention Hall (not Congress Hall). Facing the front, walk to the left side (past Morrow Nut House) and onto the beach. (Beach tags required at times).
Turn to look at the whale mural. Pretty nice, huh?
Walk to the far left corner of the building. Under the corner of the concrete wall (through the temporary(?) fence) there is a shark hiding. Please cover with some sand.
I suspect the next hurricane will destroy this one, so good luck and please report back.

SeaLife (Reported missing)
Go to the Lighthouse area at Cape May Point. Take the Nature (Red) Trail. Walk out towards the bird blind. Before heading out the dead end boardwalk to the blind, sit on the bench. Directly behind you, under the boardwalk is a variety of sealife.

Plankton (might also be missing?)
Head over to the the Cape May - Lewes Ferry launch site. Go past it a bit on Lincoln. When you hit the water, turn left into a small park. Go to the picnic pavilion. Out the back stairs. Under the second to top step on the left side (as you head out) is that rascal Plankton, owner of the Chum Bucket. Cover well with sand please.
