A short walk (300 yards) in the sand. Notice the varmint's footprints

If you discover this , please replace it as found.

Boulder, Utah is nestled in the beautiful slickrock country along Rt. 12 in the southern central part of the state.

At the intersection of Rt. 12 and the Burr trail go East 9/10 of a mile.
You will notice the Burr Trail Grill where a world class chef conjures up excellent food. A bit of history: John Atlantic Burr came to Boulder in the late 1800's as a child after being birthed crossing the Atlantic. He was a cattleman and opened the trail to move his cattle to Bullfrog Ferry and market.

When you have passed the verdent pastures, the road turns to the right. At the curve you will see the North exit to Boulder Pines Rd. on your left. Go 1/10th of a mile further and you'll find the South entrance of Boulder Pines Rd. Park safely on the side of this dirt road.

Face south and notice the cleavage between Sugarloaf and the other sandstone monolith. Walk across the paved road leaving the Boulder Pines Rd sign on your right. Stand on the bank and you will see a vague trail below. Follow the trail down into a ponderosa grove. At 96 paces ( a pace = 2 1/2 ft), you will come to a suble dry wash. Turn right into it and walk 32 paces.
Turn left into the trail again and at 3o paces you will come to 2 venerable cedar trees on your left. Turn left into the arms of the farthest cedar ( about 9 paces from the trail). You'll find the letterbox hidden on the East side in the nape of the trunk, covered with pine cones and brush.

Please be respectful of the private property and the wildlife. Enjoy !
