New Wine Park is located north of Dyersville, Iowa 2 miles off Highway 52 before you reach New Vienna. You should notice an overlap in the clues with Joyful Explorer's Wiley Racoon.
Take D18 from Highway 52.
Drive to the park.
Drive past the main picnic area with shelter and playground.
Park on first arched grassy area atop a knoll.
Look down and see the walking bridge across the creek.
Cross the bridge and enter the meadow.
Take the mown path to the right.
Meander along the path following the creek.
Listen to the frogs and birds.
At the Y, go left.. [8-2007: Boxers report that some trees have fallen on the path at this juncture. If you crawl through some brush, look to see if it might be the Y.]
Walk the number of US states.
Look left.
There's a 7-foot high stump with a log at the base.
What you seek is hidden at the end of the log nearest the stump.
Stamp in and continue on uphill to find Wiley Racoon or if it's easier, return to the "Y" to follow Joyful Explorer's clues.
