**Note: this box has been replaced in a slightly different location.**

Total time for this short hike is around 20 minutes. Easy walking for all ages. You will need a compass.

Begin by parking in the parking lot that is south of Elden Rettew Stadium. To get there from the Manheim square, travel east on High Street. Turn left on Laurel Street. Turn right on Memorial Drive, which is the 1st right turn. Follow Memorial Drive past Elden Rettew Stadium. The parking lot is located just past the stadium on the left between the tennis courts.

As you exit your car, take note of what year the Manheim Central Barons won the State Championship. Face 80 degrees and walk until you get to a creek. Turn left and begin to follow the creek. As you stroll through Veterans Memorial Park and enjoy the sites, look to your left and you will see a large 3 digit number posted above the home side bleachers. This number represents how many wins the Barons Football team has to date. Head towards pavilion number 1. After walking past this pavilion, head towards pavilion number 2. You will see a covered bridge located on the other side of pavilion number 2. Walk towards the entrance of this covered bridge and cross it.

After crossing the bridge, turn right and walk beside the creek (which is now on your right). Pass a wooden bridge on your right. Keep walking and stop on the "small stone bridge." From this point you will see a huge tree in front of you. This is probably one of the oldest trees in the park. Continue past the tree and you will notice the grass path splits. Take the path that goes slightly to the right. After a short distance, on your left you will see "a 3 that used to be 4." In it's base you will find what you are looking for.

This is a fairly busy area, please use discretion when removing and replacing box. Make sure box is well hidden when you replace it.

We welcome any comment or feedback on the condition of the box and your experience on this journey. Enjoy your journey!
