The Litterbox Letterbox of Louisiana is located inside the St Tammany Humane Society at 5th St and Harrison Rd in Covington.
It is dedicated to all animal lovers, but more specifically cat lovers.
The Litterbox Letterbox
Between Tuesday and Saturday they are open,
to care for pets whose homes were broken.
Don't let the barking dogs scare you away,
they just want to be adopted today.
You only need to walk inside the lobby,
no need to disclose your hobby.
Get your logbook ready and then sit down
with your back facing east of town.
Your next letterbox you can bestow
by opening the left litterbox "window."
Just so the staff won't be smitten,
you might ask to see that kitten.
Enjoy the letterbox! Please rehide in same place. The staff is aware of the box and welcomes animal lovers. Ask to see the Cat Cottage. The "cat-head" stamps inside the box resemble the kitten I adopted here.
